Tilmicosin Phosphate 300 mg

DESCRIPTION:
TilmiRhein is a injectable solution of tilmicosin, ready to use by subcutaneous way in a small volume, in a single dose.
INDICATIONS:
TilmiRhein is a macrolide antibiotic, synthesized from tylosin, for the symptomatic and specific treatment of the
respiratory diseases associated with Pasteurella and Mycoplasma species in ovines, beef cattle and cows at drying off.
Its use has also been used for bovine queratoconjuntivitis and podal bacterial infections TilmiRhein is incorporated and
mainly transported through the macrophages and activated polymorphonuclears. TilmiRhein goes through the white
cells wall, reachinghigh and persistent concentrations in tissues by a long time.Its pharmacokinetic pharmacodynamic
behavior (antibacterial action, dependent concentration, good liposolubility, high tissue distribution, penetration and
intracellular distribution) delivers the advantage of being able to be administered as single-dose and becoming
a therapeutic choice when treating pulmonary, ocular and podal bacterial infections.TilmiRhein is a wide spectrum
antibiotic effective against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria: Pasteurella haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida,
Haemophilus somnus, Mycoplasma dispar, Mycoplasma bovirhinis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae,
Actinomyces pyogenes, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Moraxella bovis, Clostridium
perfringens, Fusobacterium necrophorum
Species: Bovines and ovines.
DOSE AND USE:
The dose is 10 mg /kg per day, for both species, equivalent to 1 ml each 30 kg of body weight
In bovine infectious queratoconjuntivitis and podal bacterial infections, the dosis can be modified from 1 ml each 60 kg
of body weight, to 1 ml each 30 kg of body weight, in accordance to severity of the case.
By way of subcutaneous in one application.
WARNINGS:
The product must be stored in its original container. Keep out of the reach of children.
Avoid direct contact of product with skin and eyes. People with known hypersensitivity to the drug must avoid contact
with product.Operator must wear mask, goggles, overall and rubber gloves.
Keep adequate ventilation when product is applied.Do not use in automatic syringe.
Do not administer intravenously. Fatal reactions have been observed in parenteral use in pigs, equines, primates or
humans Use with care in pregnant animals or those confined for rearing. Take the product out of the package using
sterile equipment.
Use restrictions :
The meat of treated animals must not be released for human consumption until 28 days after the last day of the
treatment for bovines and ovines.
Do not administer in bovines and ovines producing milk for human consumption.
Keep at a temperature between 10º and 30º C.
PRESENTATION:
