Rheintox is 100 % composed of natural minerals (Ambrosite and other clays), specifically selected and processed to be used in animal feed.

Ambrosite,Rheintox’s main element, is an alumino-silicate of calcium and sodium, highly enriched with magnesium, of volcanic origin, with an average base exchange capacity - (about 50 MEQ), which makes easy the sorption of toxins without affecting the consumption of nutrients from other minerals or curative substances; with a big contact surfaces (5.5 square meters per cubic cm in particles of 200 mesh) and a size of pore or molecular cavity of 2.5 A (average).
This is a bipolar clay, since it has a balanced mix of positive and negative charges, which facilitates and boosts adsorption of a broad range of toxins.
Its pH is ideal (between 8 and 8.5) for a faster retention of toxins (in the animal’s small intestine).

ACTION PROCEDURE:
Rheintox can retain, at gastrointestinal level, mycotoxins of greater economic importante, such as:
Aflatoxin B1, Zearalenone, Fumonisine B1, Ochratoxin A and Deoxynivalenol (Vomitoxin), Citrinin, and it also acts upon other mycotoxins, such as toxin T2.
INDICATIONS:
Rheintox must be used in the following cases:
1. Whenever there is suspicion of grain mycotoxin
contamination.
2. In areas or seasons of high relative humidity.
3. Whenever grains have humidity over acceptable levels (12-14%).
4. Whenever grains have been stored for so long and in bad storage conditions (preventive use).
ADMINISTRATION:
Rheintox is administered in balanced feed for poultry, pigs, meat-production bovines, milk-production bovines, equines and rabbits at any stage of production
DOSAGE AND USE:
Rheintox dose that must be added to animal feed varies between 1.0 to 4.0 Kilos / per ton of feed (0.10 / 0.40%), and it is fully compatible with other additives, vitamins, supplements, minerals, medicines, etc.
