ANTIBIOTIC - ORAL USE

FORMULA:
Every 100 g of product contain: 
Chlortetracycline HCl .................... 20 g
Calcium carbonate q.s. ............... 100 g
(equivalent to 18,6 g of base Chlortetracycline) 
DESCRIPTION: 
ClorRhein A is an antimicrobial premix to be administered in pig and poultry feed. Chlortetracycline, its active ingredient, helps prevent and control diseases affecting pigs and poultry, contributing also to improve growth rate and feed conversion of infected animals.
INDICATIONS:
ClorRhein A is highly active against a vast number of Gram positive and Gram negative baceria, both aerobes and anaerobes as well as susceptible microorganisms such as: certain Mycoplasma species, Rickettsias, lymphogranuloma group Chlamydias, psittacosis, protozoans and pathogenic fungi.
PORCINES: Control and treatment of respiratory enteric infections such as porcine atrophic rhinitis, enzootic pneumonia, Haemophilus-influenzae pneumonia, necrotic enteritis, non specific enteritis, dysentery, weaning diarrhoea, porcine intestinal adenomatosis, infections associated with Escherichia coli and Salmonella colerasuis, streptococosis, pleuropneumonias, Glasser's Disease, reproductive disorders associated with Leptospirosis, articular disorders caused by Streptococcus and Staphylococcus. 
POULTRY: Control and treatment of secondary virus infections, diseases caused by coccidium and Mycoplasmas, stress or early death caused by non-specific reasons (coli septicaemia, duck septicaemia, omphalitis, avian cholera, disease of first days-old chicks, coriza, respiratory chronic disease caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae and complicated by Escherichia coli, digestive disorders caused by Salmonella Enteritidis, Salmonella typhimurium, Moraxella anatipestifer). 

Active against: beta-hemolytic Streptococcus, Streptococcus viridans, Streptococcus faecalis, Enterococcus spp, Clostridium perfringens, Neisseria meningitidis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Brucella spp, Vibrio cholerae, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Salmonella enteritidis, Salmonella typhimurium, Moraxella anatipestifer, Pasteurella haemolitica, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus ducrey, Pseudomonas pseudomallei, Leptospira spp, Treponema pallidum, Borrelia spp, Actynomices israelii, Entamoeba histolytica, Enterobius vermicularis, Rickettsia prowasekii (exanthematic typhus), Rickettsia typhi (endemic typhus ), Rickettsia rickettsii (Rocky Mountain spotted fever), Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae, Chlamydia psittaci (psittacosis), Chlamydia trachomatis (trachoma), Bacteroides fragilis.
ADMINISTRATION:
Orally administered, to be mixed with feed.
DOSAGE AND USE:
Porcines: administer 2 kg per ton of feed (equivalent to 400 ppm) during 7 - 14 continuous days. Treatment must continue until disease symptoms are not apparent. 
Poultry: the recommended dose to be applied in poultry is 300-400 pmm or 20-60 mg/kg of body weight/day, that is to say 1,5 kg to 2 kg per ton of feed. Recommended treatment period: 7 days in a row but it must be maintained until clinical signs are no longer apparent. 

The treatment is continuous for both species.
WARNINGS:
Keep out of the reach of children.
Avoid direct contact of product with skin and mucosae when product is being administered. 
The person in charge of administering this product must wear protection goggles and gloves.
The product must be stored in its original container.
Avoid direct sunlight on stored product. 
Keep adequate ventilation.
Do not contaminate water, meals or food due to storage or residues.
Do not puncture, perforate or cut the container.
Do not use medicated feed exceeding 15 days preparation.
Store in its original container at temperatures between 5 and 30ยบ C. 
Use restrictions:
Withdrawal period: 7 days in poultry and porcines.
Do not administer in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption. 
Do not use jointly with penicillines.
