ANTIHISTAMINIC

 

FORMULA:
Every ml of product contains:
Tripelenamine hydrochloride  ......  20 mg
Excipients  q.s.  .........................    1 ml
DESCRIPTION:
AntiRheinallergy is an antihistaminic that blocks the effects of histamine and therefore it is prescribed for the symptomatic treatment of hypersensitivity reactions.
INDICATIONS:
Indicated for seasonal allergies, allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis and urticaria (hives).
It can also be used as coadjutant therapeutic agent in anaphylactic reactions.
It produces a stimulating effect upon the Central Nervous System whenever administered endovenously (used in cows hypocalcaemia)
Bovines: Acute pulmonary edema, summer catarrhal conditions, urticarias and anaphylactic shocks. It can be used as stimulant in cases of depression due to indigestions, tympanization, and milk fever.
Equines: Pulmonary edema, allergic catarrhal conditions, urticarias and anaphylactic shock. Laminitas, cutaneous inflammation due to diverse allergenic agents. Also as stimulant in cases of intense depression of the general condition.
Porcines: Colibacillosis (intestinal edema).
Canines and Felines: Intense itch of undetermined cause, allergic origin conjunctival or glossopharyngeal edema, anaphylactic shock.
It can also be administered in placenta retention in order to prevent problems associated to the release of histamine such as metritis – laminitis in cows and mares, and to relieve pain caused by uterus involution. 
Species: Bovines, equines, porcines, felines and canines.
DOSAGE AND USE: 
Bovines : 
1.1 mg / kg of live weight    IM or IV
5.5 ml / 100 kg of live weight          
0.5 mg / kg of live weight (as stimulant for the CNS – hypocalcaemia) slow IV 
 2.5 ml / 100 kg of live weight               
Dosage can be repeated every 6 to 12 hs until the cause of affection has been contained.
Equines
1.1 mg / kg of live weight   IM 
5.5 ml / 100 kg of live weight      
Dosage can be repeated every 6 to 12 hs until the cause of affection has been contained
Porcines :       
1 mg / kg of live weight   IM or IV
2.5 ml / 50 kg of live weight         
Dosage can be repeated every 6 to 12 hs.         
Canines and Felines :   
1 mg / kg of live weight    IM 
0.5 ml / 10 kg of live weight              
Dosage can be repeated every 12 hs

Se administran hasta la desaparición de la sintomatología. Consultar con el médico veterinario actuante.

WARNINGS:
Keep this and all other medication out of the reach of children.
Disinfect application area.
Use previously sterilized instruments, needles and syringes to extract product from bottle.  
Keep hygienic conditions before, during and after the application of product.
In all cases, suggested dosage and warnings are left to the consideration and criteria of the acting veterinary professional.
Check that the inviolability system of the product and the storage conditions previous to use is adequate.
Do not use in animals of known hypersensitivity to the drug. 
Product must be kept in original container and at room temperature between 10ºC and 30ºC., avoiding direct sunlight on the product.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: 
Meat of treated poultry must neither be consumed during the course of treatment nor during the 4 days following the last application.
Milk of treated animals must neither be consumed during treatment nor during the 24 hours (2 milkings) following the last application.
